BTW, i drilled the big square hole at first because i had put a fan on the heatsink, and the hole was to ventilate, it worked, but wasn't necessary. So i removed it and covered the hole with an old prepaid mastercard. And i did a diy button and led because i broke the old ribbon cable! But now it looks freaking hard core

[4K Ubox R89] Moded external WiFi Antenna
Yo everyone, so after a while not using my box (about 6 month), i wanted to check it, and it was in pretty bad shape. I had done some weird stuff to it LOL. But since i really liked this box (and i got it since it's release in 2014, some linf of emotional bound), i decided todo something about it. I put it back together. But i have an old house with super thick wall and WiFi signal was bad, so i soldered a new wifi antenna with pigtail at the end of it, i drilled a hole on the plastic shell and glued it. Then you can screw in a pc antenna and the signal is so damn good! And with the update of wasser, everything is perfect. Here is a pic!

Hey gefattern, i upload it via your site right away!
Clark and Scooter, really glad you enjoid it LOL, the real advantage is how the wifi is strong, and all you need really is a bit of soldering skills and something like those (wifi antenna pigtail)
Then denude the antenna cable, separate the outter metal wire for the inner metal wire and solder it on the 2 spots of wifi antenna on the motherboard!
