Minix X68-i root / custom firmware

The MINIX X68-i is based on Octa-Core ARM Cortex-A53 (RK3368) with PowerVR G6110 GPU and comes with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop... Any ideas how to root / customize firmware? All advices appreciated
