video issue maybee a solution

anyone have Wonder why stockplayer does not associate with mkv movies, i dont know other fileformats because my movies are in mkv, but anyway i tried to longpress file in es-filemanager,choose more, choose play as video, choose player, this does the trick for mee watching smooth video, only disadvantage i cannot chose srt,subtitles or other ext subs
Fyi i am running cx-919 finless 4.2

Fyi i am running cx-919 finless 4.2

I would think editing the system/etc/media_profiles.xml or media_codecs.xml might give the ability to use the MKV extension directly?
