Hi everyone!

I'm trying to make something that is relevant and useful, and I probably should've asked this question a long time ago. But what would you like to see in a launcher meant for the TV?

Somewhere in your comment, please make a bullet point list of the things you would like me to implement or create for the new version of TVLauncher.

I'll put up a poll, later this week with the best ideas/suggestions, and I'll make the top 5-10 my first priority.

With some game emulators you can set these games up as a small widget that allows you to launch straight to the game.

this could be way different than what you or people are expecting...
I like 3D Home HD launcher in play store a lot and quite eye candy on TVs.
So, thought if something like this possible...
Same as 3D home HD, look a like a home..
main home screen as main room...
option for rooms door to enter other home screens may be user specific or app category specific...
I hope you understand what I mean...

Been following this development since your early builds. Awesome Launcher, especially your recent updates. You've literally fixed almost all my complaints. Here is some recommendations, some of which i know you are already working on.

- marquee selection around tiles when dpad is used EDIT: i see you have one, but i couldn't see it because of my black live wallpaper. maybe offer to change the marquee's color
-category transition options(i love the cube effect you have now, but maybe also offer basic transitions)
-transparency settings for app drawer
-maybe the ability to access the app drawer from somewhere other than the top menu
-ability to remove the "rss bar" from the bottom
-the top hidden menu is really nice, but it interferes with the categories right underneath them, maybe move that main settings menu somewhere other than directly on top of the categories
-widget support with the ability to scale and overlap widgets similarly to how ADW, ect. implement
-icon pack support similar to ADW/GO/Holo(there are some tasty icon packs out there nowadays)
EDIT: I also noticed there's a bug somewhere that my tiles keep changing to smaller res versions, and to fix it i force-close the launcher and restart it, and everything is fine.

here are some tiles i whipped up today, they are still formatted for the tile size on your older launcher as i didn't realize the resolution change until i finished them and put them on my tv. I will resize them all tomorrow and resave over the dropbox links. These look good with a darker background, I recommend Audio Glow Live Wallpaper

I would like to suggest again that we move this app and its discussions to a Google+ community page.
You should start uploading beta builds directly to the market. When you do this you can mark it as a beta build. ONLY users that have signed up to participate in the beta builds will receive these updates.

The Google+ Community page, can be used to accept beta member, host app icon support, custom icons, app feature request, and bug reports. All of these discussions can be separated into different sub-groups on the page to keep things much more organized than they are now.

Has to be EASY

The best has to be simple:
1- what apps are running even the system or chose which program or apps can you make to run
2- weather clock and date real time on/of
3- memory cleaner real time
4- wifi setting
5- XBMC running just for real update and click to open
6- file manger like which storage you have connected USB or SD card and download
7- games
8- which apps do you want to be running with low memory settings or make to an apps to keep the apps running with its lower memory
9- play store
