Any solution for rk3066 stutter/judder video playback?

I guys. I have 3 devices with this chip (X5, imito mx1 and mk808) and the problem still there. I try with to many roms and nothing.
In too many forums the people says the problem is on Hdmi drivers. I dont know where is the problem im only knows the video pkayback is very bad compared with others android chipsets or wdtv or pc video playback.

Thanks in advance for any help, and sorry for my bad english.

What res are you running at - 720p or 1080p?

What app are you using to play back videos?

I'm running a modified version of the most recent factory Android 4.2.2 image on my mk808b. Mostly removed factory apps and used Finless' build.prop and apks as a starting point. For me, Netflix is actually not bad. Pixel-y garbage on occasion but I attribute that to a long weak wifi connection I'm using with it. At the start of playback it's choppy and then < 10-20 seconds later it smooths out and seems to work fine. Used it to stream ~4 hours of netflix the other day w/o issues other than the wifi like I mention.

I need to install XBMC and see how that works for local attached or LAN playback. I tried Lewy's installer and that didn't work for some reason.

Pretty sure the factory image uses a 720p kernel though, so I need to try flashing the one I compiled per the forum instructions and see if it works also.

Give us some more detail on video source, type, etc.

Like I mention, Netflix for me is pretty smooth. Playback with emedia player from a UPnP source over the wifi on the network works... Also copied an xvid locally to a slow microsd card and that played back fine as well. Any Anti-virus apps running? I'm on a mk808b but I'd expect your unit to play back better than mine?

Maybe u dont see the judder. To many people doesnt see this issue. But for me is very frustrating.
I dont have antivirus installed on any device.

I understand you in 100%. Got the same issue on my Measy U2A. Tried every rom available and every single player. Always micro stutter...

At this point its clear all 4.2 roms have broken video.

This is due to the vendors releasing firmwares with broken video.
There a t428 rom being tested that apparently fixes the broken video and lets netflix/plex work fine.

Once they get the ok the kernal can be rleased and bob or others can make a custom rom quite quickly.

The problem has been fixed in the newer chipset but it appears we are out of luck as there no interest in the older chipset these days it seems.
