sys/class/thermal/thermal_zone0/temp ... is usually battery on most devices but that should be cpu temp for a TV box, they only have one thermal zone

... good job. As you can see, it's different per firmware, but yes, I should've mentioned tsadc, that's the temperature sensor function in rockchip. But I've never seen it in that location such as yours.

Also, if you're interested in updating that firmware, let me know.

Have tried different firmware versions with this box, but it seems that this original one is acceptable. However , what would you suggest to install?
I have wired Ethernet, so WiFi chip is not a problem.
