MXQ Pro 4K remote not working

Hi all,

so my MXQ pro 4k was missing the remote when I received it and banggood sent me a replacement however it isn't working with my box.

The infrared led is working on the remote just this box is having none of it, is there anything I can do to resolve this?

I read on various threads about updating remote.conf in system\etc when flashing an image however this isn't an option with this box as the reset button does nothing so you cant reflash it (as per this thread http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...e-reset-button ).

The box works apart from the above to issues.... any tips?

I think the Box needs a different remonte.conf for Working correct.
Hard to Work out when the IR Remote not Work on the Box.
Do yourself a favor and buy a real remote that works like this one:

Yeah I can still navigate the box using a mouse wasn't sure if there was a way to update the remote.conf while the box is up and running.

Picked up one of those remotes cheers for the link.
