SIM card usage in US

I have the Cube T9, still going strong. I was thinking of getting a smaller 7 or 8" Cube for a family member that would be able to use a sim card in the US.

If not Cube, any other recommended models/ brands that can be used as a phone here???

I bougth a t8 plus for 95 € in july , size is perfect for travelling use and outdoor, at home I am still using the t9 , unfortunately the camera is worst.
