My Purchase of Android box

Six years ago I bought Allwinner U1A android mini box.But it disappointed me.
My friend has bought , an AMLOGIC S905X-A53. ANDROID 6.0, DDR3=2GB,4x 64B box and said that It is working great.Everything,video,live channels,Kodi 16.1 are awsome.
Kindly let me know, should I but this android box for longer time or I should buy Rockchip android box??

Well... there a many tv boxes with Amlogic 905x...and the are not all made equal...
My advice
Find out...what model your friend has... and do a search on freaktab and cnx-software.com for some informed decision making

Personal... the 905x is cheap, many models are good supported, there is even a option to install libreelec
But, it not running the promised 2ghz...

The Model is M96X
He deleted most of apps ( like skype,facebook,twitter,etc ) that he did not need to use,as he primarily is using it for videos,movies,shows and Live Tv channels.So device is working faster.
