cwm recovery for iMito QX1

I unpack and repack the generic cwm recovery for rk31 device made by fun_ in http://androtab.info/clockworkmod/rockchip/ and add to it the imito stock kernel. To get a full working (at least for me) cwm recovery.

All credits to fun_ from androtab, he did all the hard work, I only modded it, modify some little things, and add a kernel so we can format and flash the kernel partition from cwm. So it is not my work, it is fun work. If it works well for you, then Thanks to fun_, if something fails or not work good, for sure it is my fault.

I tried to contact him and ask him to make it, but he is busy and cant answer.

I am using this recovery for some weeks and I didn't have any problem with it. But if you have a problem pease fell free to ask, i will try to help.

It is the img file so you need to flash it using any of the flash tools included in nemode or Bob finless rk31 roms.

A new way to install cwm recovery for imito qx1 from any rom and without pc.

1. Install from play store the free apps Terminal emulator (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jackpal.androidterm&hl=es)and busybox installer(https://play.google.com/store/apps/d....busybox&hl=es)
2. Open busybox installer, grant superuser permission,Use normal install (Not smart Install) then when it finish close the app.
3. Download http://www.freak-tab.de/leolas/qx1-cwm.zip from your stick, it must be downloaded in /sdcard/Download/ (this is the default folder if you use the stock browser for download it.
4. Open Terminal emulator and write:

su
cd /sdcard/Download
unzip qx1-cwm.zip
sh cwm.sh

After write su you must grant superuser permission to terminal emulator.

This recovery is tested in IMITO QX1 ony, I didn't test it in other stick but it must not be excessive problems to use it in other sticks.

Does this work for other RK3188 devices like 802 IV or UG007B ? since there is no wifi or Blutooth needed While CWM Recovery is running.

Is better to adapt this recovery and add your kernel. In this one I am using the imito qx1 kernel. Actually I am a little away for some personal problems, let me a week, and I will try to port it to your device.

But in the recovery my imito qx1 cannot remote by mouse and keyboard. I can't move the cursor up or down. Any advice, thank.

Bluethoth keyboard? I am using some remote keyboards with mine and no problem, maybe you can use a usb wired Keyboard to make tjee backups and restore them, I will try to make a script to backup boot.img, kernel.img, recovery.img, misc.img and system.img. But if you change your partitions size only a bit, they will not work.
