Lighthome apk launcher 2017

Yes I know this topic was discussed before but the topic is old and dead by now. I really love this launcher and from what I have seen in this forum there are some great people doing great things. Hell better then the manufactures are (hello Beelink). I have seen in this forum where a person started to make this a real apk file so we can use this launcher on any tv box but in the end the person said something like it's there personal launcher they have there finger prints all over the files. I say so what, Beelink isn't doing much for there customers.

It would be great and I would donate of course to get this, look I am no expert on how to do this. I look at this launcher and it seems very basic, but what do I know. The things to change if possible:

1. Kodi icon have this icon be whatever you want SPMC Kodi FTMC
2. The 6 floating apps on the home page, just have a +/- so we can add any app in this area
3. The background have it so you can use any wallpaper instead of the preset 4
4. The clock maybe a couple of different widgets.

These are only suggestions, if the apk file can be created and work on any box, man would I get a woody. The 4 suggestion would be the different thing that makes this launcher different then Beelinks.

Lots of launchers to many like others. To devote time on launchers when lots of free options that fullfill the need. Tv launcher sqaure home nova prime ugoos the list goes on. You may like it 20 others will hate it. Best to take a paid version and make it your own via customization. Even some have a back up option that you can share and custom icon that can be shared. Ever new device new launchers as well. So in my opinion already to many out.

My Beelink app is called lighthome, so I don't really know.

Really there isn't that many launchers, all what I am saying is my opinion only. To me the launcher should look like a smart tv style vs a tablet. There are only a few that look like a smart tv style that is customizable. Like TV Launcher it/s my 2nd go to but you can't change the box sizes and place them where you want it's too boxy for me.

Beelinks launcher looks good just short of perfect due to non customizable home page and simple.

Is there any directions out there on how to change the links to the home screen icons? Obviously changing the icon is easy because of the pictures but I can not figure out how change links for the life of me. Any help would be much appreciated. Sorry to bump on this old post as well.

You would need to unpack the launcher APK and then modify and rebuild.

There is a link to one webpage on here but I can't find it right now,

Google how to modify an apk and you will find a lot of information but it might not be very straightforward.

So, I have this launcher on my MINI MX3 (same as this here), I supose to be the LightHome.apk (I have another Laucher.apk installed).
But in the last firmware update, the Kodi icon/shortcut was replaced by one "Movie Player" and a generic media player was installed, possibly by some anti piracy reasons. But I want it back, someone has this lighthome version?

If you Google LightHome APK, there are quite a few downloads out there, so maybe worth trying a few.

All lighthome.apk downloads the file explorer button doesn't work, I so wish I can get lighthome.apk that works 100%.

File explorer would likely be the app that the launcher button points to, so that would logically be the separate element in terms of an app that is required.

I don't recall which file explorer it will be but if you can identify it, then I'm sure it could be searched for or even extracted from a firmware that originally included the launcher.
