I updated google play services but that does not help. Too bad, but Kodi, Filmon and Yuntv works perfectly, and youtube through Kodi

FW is a big mistake on this Box.., and I cannot find update...

So I put LibreElec on SD card with Rufus https://forum.libreelec.tv/thread-3588.html - and everything is Working (wifi, bluetooth...) - even the remote controler from this Box...

This aplication from GP - Reboot to LibreELEC https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...otupdate&hl=en helps big to boot to LE because there is no way to do "toothpick method"

FW errors from Android
1. HDMI CEC function keep rebooting box when put my TV to program mod and go back to HDMI input
and
2. there is no dark picture in Kodi 16 (LE) - error on S905X chipset...

now in LE not exists...,

Now I am happy - because S-Box is now a powerfull Kodi machine..., but Android with FW update is a big thumb down...

I put Wookie Retro Build on LE (Kodi 16) and it is fast as hell, great.., great buid, heavily loaded - for clear, smooth and above all very fast Kodi experience... ---- with only ONE "problem" - Now I do not have LibreElec shoutdown option to boot back to nand...(boot to Android)... is there any solution to edit shoutdown option in Wookie... !??

If you're booting from the SD card all you would need to do is power it down and eject the SD card, then power it up and it should boot back to Android, no?

Yes..., with SD card in - LE is booting.., without SD card - Android booting...

I wrote more than 3 times to TomTop - but they did not answer..., This can be a reallly good machine with better firmware...
LibreElec is working like a charm.., so now this box is a LE Kodi machine...

With final test2 version google services crashes.

You need to change the remote.conf file in /system/etc with:

The remote switches off the device with power button and on with #2

Thanks.., I will try it but for now TV Box is no longer with me..., sold to a friend with LibreElec.., he do not need anything but Kodi..., so he is happy....

Yesterday I updated firmware with XannyTech Custom Mod as dzen mentioned, it works OK but now show that it is 1/16 instead 2/32. Finally Youtube and other apks are working. Still waiting for better firmware.

You can just go through the available custom firmwares if you have a working TWRP....
If the work pick the best one, if not move on the next rom.

how did you reboot it to recovery mode, please cause mine it is not rooted so i cant intall the firmware to test it
