Geekbuying are the main vendor for Tronsmart products as they are both owned by the same parent company, although Amazon often has them too.

The previous generation had pumbled the company because of the famous boot hangs albeit being the best build box, this one also has the good quality and a rare battery for the clock which you don't see it on most s912 boxes. I still believe this must be one of the best s912 boxes out there.

There isn't much in the way of reviews to determine the real quality of the box yet and even Tronsmart haven't created a dedicated section for it on their forums to provide support.

I've had my s96 for about 2 months I got a pre release one will get review up soon. It's a great box superior video quality hdr, deep colour, VP9. It's fast as well and games run great with the faster soc. Firmware is pretty solid so far no boot hang or any other bugs that I've been able to find in my 2 months of running it

This is a great Media player\streamer. I just wish we can get rooted software of this new version(2017-01-20). Only 2016 firmware has rooted version.

Will not switch on in Network settings, will in more settings but not detection.
BT Works and Ethernet ok...

S96 remote does not work
One from Beelink does.
