Can Exposed Framework resolve "external USB storage access" w/ certain apps on T95z+?

Hello all,

Recently upgraded from a TronSmart NX (Finless Rom 4.2.2) to a Sunvell T95z Plus updated to firmware 0007. I am trying to use Mizuu.tv apk for my movie library catalog but I am unable to browse to my external USB HDD (Hard Disk Drive). My understanding is as of Android 4.4 (KitKat) has internal storage security changes (no issues with my M8S on 4.4.2). I read somewhere that Xposed Framework will resolve this... Can someone confirm?

-Where can I get Expose Framework?
-Is there a TWRP ?

Not 100 percent sure on Xposed but you can have a look at this ROM, superceleron includes it already:

You should be okay to use almost any of the S912 recovery. I used this for my Alfawise S92: https://mega.nz/#!iwkU2TrJ!_MzaXtxTL...im-Y3zom-7BgJI (It is for Beelink GT1, S912 device)
I suggest to put the recovery.img on a micro SD card first, put it in box, reboot while holding reset button. If it works from there it should work when installed as your recovery.img. (Can be installed via RASHR in the Play Store)

I also tried using root explorer on my device to change security of “/storage” to 777 without luck (both devices rooted and SU# installed). Also checked “ <item name="android.permission.WRITE_MEDIA_STORAGE" granted="true" flags="0" /> ”.
