HELP! - Where is the latest rom?
I'm new to this site; New to the Arnova 9G2; but been flashing roms on phones and tablets for years.
I'm completely confused by this Arnova 9G2 forum and the roms available. I have 2 simple questions please:-
a) Which ICS rom image from Finless Bob is the latest version (I think I found a 1.5....?) that has root and Google Play included. The last updated dates and rom versions are quite confusing.
b) There seem to be 97 different ways to flash ROMS on this device.. which is the simplest - that DOESN'T use a PC (if possible) (I'd like to avoid trying to get yet another set of USB drivers working on my laptop!)
The Arnova version I have is Android 4.03 ; Kernal 3.0.8+ ; RK2918_Android4.0.3-Arnova2.08.00.2012-4-19

(which I think is a stock rom - that doesn't come with Google Play - and doesn't seem to let me connect to my gmail account.
