P9 stuck at boot screen after TWRP restore

    Hi All,

Last december I replaced the RileyROM 1.8 on my Pipo P9 with a CM13 rom from CrewRKtablets. This was to get a game working that needed a more recent Android version.
The game worked with the CM13 rom. But overall I wasn't that happy with the newer rom (buggy auto-rotate, battery drain, at times unresponsive and laggy). So today I decided to swith back to a RileyRom.

At first I tried to restore a backup trough TWRP. This seemed to work, but the tablet got stuck at the CrewRKtablets bootlogo at reboot. Then I flashed RileyROM 1.9, as per the included instructions. This also seemed to complete succesfully. But again, on reboot the tablet got stuck at the bootlogo. Although this time a RileyROM bootlogo.

Am I missing something obvious? Any tips to bring my trusty P9 back to life? Does the parameter6.txt file play a role in this. As I don't what size I originally set this when flashing the RileyROM for the first time.

    Regards,
    Marc

To answer my own question; after a couple of tries flashing the Rileyrom with the same result as above, I flashed CrewRKtablets CM13 rom. This booted without issues. And even seems to have fixed the issues I had with it.

Afterwards I did notice in the CrewRK flashing instructions to leave their loader file intact when flashing to an older Rom. Whiich I did not do when flashing RileyRom. So that might: explain my troubles. With everything working, I didn't want to puch my luck flashing the Rileyrom again.
