Dead MK902II
Hi. I would really appreciate your help. I just bought the MK902II. When I connected it to tv it went into the boot and kept going for more than 1/2 hr. So I tried to restore it, but I got as far as the message "Test Device Success" and got stack on it overnight. I tried newest version (20160722) as well as the older one (2015), both display the same problem. Any ideas? Sorry I posted that in the Main Forum and probably should be here.Tags: None

Do a 'EraseFlash' then try to do an 'Upgrade' again.
You hold in a paperclip in the recovery hole when you connect the USB and power cable to it.
It should say 'RK Loader found'
You might also need to install the drivers with DriverAssistant 4.4.

Is AndroidTool v2.35 only for RK3368 or I can use it on RK3288? I tried to go for "Test Device" and the message that I got was "Test device failed". What is it going to do if I go for the "Reset Device". I do have "MK902II_5.1_RKM_ota_20160722.img" image which hopefully I could install (How??) but does this image includes formatting, boot, operating system etc.?? Thanks again for help.

Make sure the update.img is over 400MB.
Leave test and reset device out, not sure why you want to use that.
