Hi

I bricked my old android box. I'm looking for KOT49H.20140820 test-keys. So far, nothing.
description of the box:
-has no logo on it.
-1st screen I see when it boots up is amlogic quad core S805
- when it used to work, the 2nd screen was mobx. Letters in individual boxes
-Now i get the screen with options to update from EXT, ADB and ect

Firmware you are after can be found at these links...use whatever method you want...
I installed using 2nd method ...download will be MXQ-16.0-1219 and once installed is KOT49H.20140820...use at own risk

1st method = https://cloud.mail.ru/public/7oSn/WunL7sMWW/ just tick 1st box
that should tick all 3 boxes then hit download box which is just below clouder image...
once downloaded apdate using amlogic usb burning tool

unzip then use sd card method

update on this... just installed this update with sd card method http://chinagadgetsreviews.blogspot....at-442_17.html
which installs KOT49H.20160129 it updated firmware and it left all my preinstalled apps and kodi as they were, and so far controller and wifi works fine

I have an M8S android tv box that says the model number is hx812. I am trying to find the latest firmware for that device and not having any luck. The actual home page doesn't look anything like a prior M8S box that I had and this particular box doesn't have the dual network capability (2.4/5GHZ). Any help is appreciated.
