It's not possible to modify Nougat, so I can't fix any of the hundreds of bugs in that firmware.
    I don't have RK3368 anymore, moved on to RK3328.
If I have time, will try to update my firmware but won't know if it will boot as I can't test it.
Loader in the firmware changed for the kernel 4.4

Awesome! Did you try it out? Does it have any major issues?

Are there any chances to get Pie from RockChip for 3368, or build from scratch by ourselves?
Pie will only be finished sometime in November and it's not to say it will work on RK3368, maybe only new devices.
Everyone is on holiday in China right now, so maybe I'll only find out in a week or two if someone can help.
I'll update Marshmallow first to get it more up to date.

There is only 1 manufacturer that released a Nougat firmware so far for rk3368 full of bugs and no download link. Everyone moved on to rk3328 devices that will get Pie at the end of the year. So it's difficult to build or test something for such an old chipset but I'll keep trying to get help.

Just a request, if at all it is possible, please provide an Oreo build. Else, if you can help me with the steps to build and test, I can try building Oreo and provide to this community. Will wait for your reply..

Yes but I was under impression that you were still planning to make a small update for your mm firmware, as you mentioned previously. Is it something that is still going to happen in the near future?

Yes, there is 7.1 firmwares on devices sold but it would be full of bugs.
RK3328 devices are now the same price or even cheaper than RK3368 with much better video playback and Linux support, so it's almost pointless to make Nougat/Oreo firmware for it if no one is even using these devices anymore.

Hi mo123 , are you still planning to release an update for this ROM? Also I noticed that some stores selling rk3368 based players mention 7.1 in the specifications. Can it be true at all? I never came across 7.1 firmwares for rk3368 anywhere.
