i just need to skip the check or could i use amlogic usb burner
i use Libreelec BTW but I just wanted to update the android OS and see if it works.

I have never used that software so I don't know, but I think the update process is the same, just the interface is different. Does your box look like this http://www.enybox.com/En/product/html/?221.html ?

I don't know how to check if it's fake, I think the problem is from your sdcard, it also happened to me, try using usb instead.

That is what I tried and it gave me the signature error that I showed you but I will try with a USB as you have done and will see if it works and if it doesn't I will just stick with libreelec which is much better

Could you give me the email that you used to contact enybox as I need the IMG file so I can update the box as the other update will not work for me

then an employee replied me and she said I should use skype or whatsapp for better communication

i got it working now by flashing the image that was provided by chris and it booted up and then used the latest zip that you provided to update the box
and now it works.

Downloaded Lastest firmware of enybox EM95X 2GB ram version 1.1.0 build date 9 Jan 2017 & it updated my EM95X from version 1.0.8
