Correct settings for 5.1 sound on Kodi 17?

I have a Sunvell T95Z Plus with Kodi 17 but I cant get surround sound from my speaker system.
I am using HDMI connections and in Kodi Audio settings I have selected the following...
    Number of Channels 2.0
    Stereo upmix Off
    Allow passthrough On
    Dolby Digital capable receiver On
    AC3 transcoding Off
    DTS capable receiver On

but I only get sound from front speakers, can anyone help?
    Thanks.

From the options you have available it shows your firmware does not implement the IEC61937 audio standard necessary for passthrough audio support in Kodi 17. You'll have to download one of the special builds from the Kodi forums that include the old nasty pcm hack from Jarvis.

It's all explained in detail, here: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?...813#pid2522813

I have the following settings based off of what was discussed above I'm running Kodi 17

        Number of channels: 2
        Output configuration: Optimized
        Volume steps: 90
Maintain original vol on down Mix: enabled
        Sterio up mix: disabled
        Resample quality: High
        Threshold for pitch correction: 2
Keep audio device alive: 1 min
        Send low volume noise: enabled

        on audio passthrough
        Allow passthrough: enabled
Passthrough output device. Android, audiotrack. (Greyed out)
Doldy Digital (AC3) capable receiver: enabled
Enable Dolby Digital (AC3) transcoding: enabled
Dolby Digital plus (E-AC3) capable receiver: disabled
DTS capable receiver: disabled. ( my Receiver is capable of this, but I disabled it due to the comments above)
DTS – HD capable receiver: disabled

        under DSP settings
        Enable audio DSP process: enabled

i've tried changing the above settings and also tried changing the audio setting in the movie (it has an "allow passthrough" setting in the movie menu).
i have been using the movies in "more power Phoenix" selection, they have 5.1 movies that you can pick from.
When I play those movies and hit the "i" button on the menu it lists the specs of the movie. I have yet to see a 5.1 listed. It always says AAC and 2.0.
        Any help would be appreciated.
