MXQ Pro 4K problem

I got this box yesterday but it does not seem to have any software on it the only screen it has upon loading is attached, there is no reset button on or in the unit, I opened it to be sure this is all I get when I power it on nothing else.
I have tried to load an image with the USB to PC method but it does not go any further than 2% any help would be appreciated

You have other options. Flash fresh firmware for your box http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...-0-marshmallow

Ask in the aml forums they'll be able to guide you, maybe even in that thread
