    Date/Time 01/01/2000

These devices have no battery so what would be a way of making it keep the time when rebooted?
I know it can update from network but there is not always an internet connection.

Is there a file where I can change the default date? I could then update this at an interval and at least get a date/time that is only wrong by the amount of time the device has been off.

You have no RTC like Snakekiller say the only thing you can do is write Date and Time of a File.
But the Problem is when you turn of the Device for 4 Days as Example you have a Date that´s not correct.
May you can Sync your Time with an Atomic Clock Source. But for this you must make some Soldering.
