GV 4k box 16g 2g firmware 5.1.1 s905 not allowing install of many aps

Is there better firmware I can usb load for this box

Its the s905 not s905x

I purchased this box due to 16 gig and 2gig but most aps on play store says incompatible device type,
Even when I try installing an apk file I get similar problems.

Is there a firmware 16/2 anyone would recommend from china gadgets that may would solve these problems different manufacturer is a possibility.
I also have a s905x and this works great and I updated it to marshmallow without a problem from a different manufacturer.

Does anyone know of a 5.1.1 firmware that I can download?
My friend have 5.1.1 on 8/1 memory boxes and everything works great.

Can I put the 8/1 firmware on and loose some memory?
