Best way to stream to CX919 from home PC

    Hi,

I'm currently streaming videos to my tv via wireless from my home network to a WD TV live media player. The PC on the network runs serviio as my media server.

I now have a CX919 and have put Finless ROM 1.4 (4.2.2) on it.

What would be the best program/app to use to stream my videos like i do to my WD player? I 'd prefer something that has the ability to change the sync between audio and video like the WD or VLC player incase a downloaded video has "out-of-sync" audio.

I have XBMC installed but video was a bit choppy. Got a new router (Netgear DGND3700) today so hopefully that will help.

Is there something better i can use purely to stream videos from the network. I dont want to be able to share to other devices or anything.

    Any advice would be great

I set up DLNA server on pc, then install iMediashare on my android phone, then run tv stick's dlna application, and I can control the play by my phone, it is quite cool, and playing effect is much better than most media player that supports LAN. The only disadvantage is it cannot play subtitle.

Yeah Serviio is my DLNA server on the PC.

I will look at iMediashare for my phone too then.

What application do you use on your stick for DLNA? Or did your stick already have something installed?
