Issue: DTS passthrough on S905X using KODI 17 *Krypton"

Hello,

I have a Beelink Mini MXIII II (and GT1) running stock firmware and recently moved to KODI 17 (from KODI 16.1).
My box is connected to DTS enabled receiver using SPDIF output connection

using KODI 16.1 DTS passthrough worked fine but now using KODI 17 DTS passthrough is not working at all - NO sound.

has anyone encountered this?
Is there a solution?
