    Most likely not
That box is probably not even sold anymore and abandoned long ago by the manufacturer.

      Your best option is:

      libreelec 7 is kodi 16.1 / libreelec 8 is Kodi 17.1 RC

I did the same on my s802-h Vega

      Cheers

          hi,
          there are two ways...

          preferred way...
          Download firmware
          use

And create a bootable sdcard... then use reset button to boot Le from SD
If everything works like you wish... you can use shh to give command installtointernal (this will write to nand)
          ----
          The second way..
Download the flashable zip.. unpack to SD ( you get another zip, if I remember correctly)
In android launcher use Update app... to install the zip file (this will format/overwrite android! )
          ----
          Alternative options...
*Use Petrus Reboot app to boot into recovery...and install zip
*You might be able to use Reboot...to boot into Le sdcard...also

Please note... way1 was not available when I first installed Le , I used the Zip methode (unsafe method)
          Goodluck

            Thanks a lot Mitchell.

            I took LibreELEC-S802.S82.arm-8.0.0-2-alpha-devel.img.gz

            from http://download.drieschel.de/LibreElec/S82/

            to Rufus and pressed Start.

            SD shows:
            kernel
            kernel.img.md5
            system
            system.md5

            Boot starts and says:

cp: can´t stat ´/flash/system´: No such file or directory

            ***Error in prepare_sysroot: mount_common: Could not mount /dev/System ***

            ### Starting debugging shell... type exit to quit ###

sh: can´t access tty: job control turned off

Do i have to search a device tree file first?

            Found this:
"Download a device tree as instructed above and rename it to dtb.img. Copy the renamed file to main folder of SD card/USB drive - replace the one that's already there."

Where can i get this for the S82?

            Or is it another mistake?

            Thank you!

            Edit:
I tried several of demetris and drieschels images. "Filsystem corruption detected". "Read-only filesystem".
            My box is Mbox S83B V2.2 S802B/A P6330/ 2/16GB Mali 450.
Which image do i have to choose for Kodi17?
I use to format SD before writing image. Still stuck with errors.
            Used Libreelec USB-SD Creator
            Rufus 2.12
            2 GB Micro SD Kingston

            Thank you.
