    Hi everyone I am trying to upgrade to a custom firmware as the stock firmware by Sumvision is very slow and is on 5.1

    Can I upgrade firmware I have looked every where but cant seem to find it can anyone help thanks.
    Sumvision Android X8 media player, Rockchip 64-bit 1.5Ghz Octa-core CPU, the 8 core

    I've tried it but I prefer a lot of the classic android system.
    too many things are missing in these custom roms.
    on this rom i coolio even i did not find the shutdown button .... and then it has too many useless things i do not use.
    I do not like the graphics, but the structure in general is very dispersive!

    Not sure how much Android 5 will affect you. The leanback launcher has its own look and feel. It's worth trying as it is quite stable and fast.

    there is a rom MM in the network, but strangely it is incompatible with so many apps (also antutu).
    it is nice and smooth, but still needs a few finishing touches
    rom is android 6.0
