I don't understand all these questions about Netflix working on generic boxes. Simplest solution is to get a device that is recognized and supported by Netflix like Roku, Amazon fire TV, or a legit AndroidTV box like MiBox MDZ-16-ab, Nexus Player or Nvidia Shield. Wetek also has some Netflix capable boxes.

None of the supposed workarounds will ever work considering Netflix has very tight DRM protection, and other major streaming services are doing the same.
Also, bear in mind that the screen you are connecting to must also support proper DRM functions.

There are some reasons.

Some people may have purchased an item not knowing and will therefore ask if it can be implemented.

Others know that over time there have been many functions thought not to be available or work in a certain way that have then been implemented by developers.

Some of the simple solutions to one requirement may not meet the needs in other areas.

And of course, some may simply not be able to afford the top of the line, all singing, all dancing solutions.

I wanted a good libreelec box with optional Netflix in HD (Netflix for Android TV)

Ended up with a wetek hub...
Well... Libreelec is working great, the android portion is really bad! Much to less ram for Android...

So, even if you choose a box with "official support" you can end up using workarounds.
I nearly disabled every app that I don't need, only to use Netflix on the hub...
Not what I thought about this expensive devide.
Could have used a 25$ box instead and quitting Netflix.
