Two boxes help

I have two s805 boxes and want to load Kodi 17 so therefore need to load lollipop .

One is a tactid that has an SD card slot....

The other is a generic box witb mxv and has no SD card slop....3 USB slots..

I notice that the ROM for lollipop from Abdul has TWRP......And the firmware is not in iso it is in zip

For the box with the camera card I can use TWRP and the zip loaded to the SD card just by pull it onto the storage in my Windows computer. I then put the camera card in the box turn the box on owrj the card in and put a pin in the reset piece?

How do I do the other box. No camera card ?

Is there a service I can pay to upgrade both boxes?

Each box will have it's own procedure for successful flashing but with respect to the first one, yes, you can initially put TWRP recovery on an SD card, then, whilst you press in the reset button, power it up and see if it will boot into TWRP recovery. You may have to experiment a little to see how long you have to hold the reset button in.

Note that there is no one TWRP recovery that suits all boxes and that you may even have to place the flashable zip file onto a USB stick for it to work.

With regards to the second one, I can't work out from what you say whether you do have a firmware suitable for it, or whether you plan to use the same firmware for each box.

It may be worth opening up each box and taking some detailed pictures of the boards and components as this may help to identify whether there is a suitable firmware, especially for the second box that can be flashed via a USB cable.

Ok on the mxv one was able to use the other update app and locate the Abdul Lollipop zip and it restarts in TWRP. I then swipe to allow modification try to go to install . How do I locate on my USB stick? I am using a USB flash drive. Do I need to do this from an SD card ? I don't see an SD card inset on this, maybe a micro USB? Once in TWRP what are the next steps to install the Lollipop zip i downloaded?
