    My two cents worth

I have tested four quad core models so far. cx-919 mk908, t428 and cs868 I used each for about a week and only the cs868 got an upgrade to the latest stock rom. All were wifi only with a broadband 25 mbps cable connection. The cx-919 and cs868 were by far the best in video. The cs868 with its 8 core graphics displayed with much more color and depth. The cx-919 was very smooth with no skipping whatsoever. Its just that the picture looked more vivid on the cs868. Only problem though on the cs868 was the random frame jumps maybe once every 20 or 30 seconds. Installing system tuner pro and adjusting some tweeks seemed to eliminate for the most part. The cx-919 will not play content in hw+ mode but was fine in hw(mx player). the cx-919 was also a little faster overall compared to the cs868. The other 2 models were fair in video with problems with displaying smoothly, and comparable to the cx-919 in speed. I experienced some drops in connection on both models while the other two had none. All models were tested using an hp touchpad power supply. I have a cs-918 on the way and will post my results afterwards

    Thanks for the info.

I'm looking for a 3188 TV stick...that Finless or Neomode haven't already done a ROM for...1. So I can do a ROM for it...and 2. So I have a 3188 test stick to try things with my 3188 tablet ROM's. So I don't plan on watching movies much...just testing different ROMs.

I've found the CS898, X31 and TR42 which might meet those criteria, but I don't know which would be best for me.

Can you please detail which tweaks you adjusted?

I'm thinking about getting the Mele A1000G (or M9, depending on pricing) to start some A31 development. I'm just after Netflix and streaming from my media center PC, so the better graphics is intriguing. I do wish there were more people somewhere working on the A31 products, but I have some hope with the overclocking being done on the tablets. If anyone out there is with me on this, let me know and let's see what we can do.

Netflix was very smooth on both the cx-919 and cs868 right out of the box

That's good to know. Did you try any streaming video over wifi? Until I move into my new house, wifi is all I have.
