NEO X5, Call Me Stupid I just Don't Get It????

I just got a brand spankin new NEO X5 and want to install the Finless 1.2b ROM on it but
don't know where to start?

I've read, and re-read almost every single post on this forum but am still confused about how to setup my box.

All I really want to do is to use XBMC XAF in 720p, watch Netflix and play some games like Shadowgun and some emulators for SNES and the like on it.

Do I just need to read this sticky post called "NEW - Updated - MINIX Neo X5 Finless Custom ROM 1.2b" and follow the instructions and I'm good to go or do I need to download and install a bunch of stuff like CWM, updated kernels, new MINIX firmware, flash the box and use libstagefright etc?

What would really help is a step-by-step sequence that points to existing resources on this forum or can be simply explained in this post.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

P.S. I just got rid of my Apple TV 2 to move to Android and jailbroke that box and got it up and running without a single problem, just not grasping the Android universe quite yet!

I had no problems when I jailbroke my Apple TV 2 about 8 months ago, this Android process just through me for a loop!

I've only read about jailbreaking fruit boxes, but from what I recall this is even simpler. To the point of being deceptive.

I had the added problem of no pc but after reading a bit on here I managed to Flash Cwm and then Flash Finless rom. Haven't looked back since. The x5 isn't perfect. .. But it is outstanding when you consider what it can do for the price .
