i have a android box M8N running android 4.4 and i was told i need to update it to 5.1 or 6.1 so can use the new stuff coming out can this be done or is it lost cause if not in right place am sorry thank you and hope your have a good day

we need to know what kind of CPU is used . Rockchip (RK3066/RK3188 ....) or Amilogic ( S805/S812 ....)

and the Wifi Chip is important , so open up and make some good zoomed Pictures of th PCB .
