PK Remote ControlV2.0 not find any servers

I installed finless 4.1.1 with strauzo kernel ( v1) and now everything work fine with some minor issues ( scaling seems to be off ). The stock rom & finelss 4.2.2 both had issues. Now netflix works fine, streaming video ( from smb) works and youtube is good too.

However the rk remote that finless provided is not working. I installed it on my phone ( evo 3d with custom rom) but it is unable to find the server.

Am i missing something? Any pointers would be great. Any other alternatives that i can use?

I don't have an answer for you, but I experienced the same thing. RK Remote worked fine on 4.2.2, flashed back to Finless 4.1.1 and now RK Remote doesn't work. I have other ways to control the cx-919, but i would like this as an option.

I have Rc12 remote which i use. Not very happy with it so thinking of sending it back.

How do you control cx-919? I am considering buying droidmote. Any expereince with that or other software remotes?

I don't have an answer for you, but I experienced the same thing. RK Remote worked fine on 4.2.2, flashed back to Finless 4.1.1 and now RK Remote doesn't work. I have other ways to control the cx-919, but i would like this as an option.

In 4.1 roms try to use the old version of rkremote.
Strauzo disabled in his kernels rkremote I think.

I flashed the kernel from fineless rom 4.1.1 but still no luck. Do i need any install anything on the stick?

Open homemdiacenter application, it makes work the server side.

Just experiencing the same issue. Do you know where to get this "old" version you are talking about?
Btw. Droidmote seems not to work with finless 4.1.1 either.

I think that the old versions comes in finless 4.1 roms packages, but I amnot sure.

Yes, cause the new rkremote app is only for 4.2 roms, for 4.1 roms you need the old apk.

Ok, the original version works with Finless 4.1.1.
