- gapps are preinstalled - the firmware is rooted, just need to install SuperSu or Superuser from Play Store to have root acces.

How well it works.

Wifi..solid and speedy
Bluetooth..solid
5.1 seems to be working fine
Plex..mostly not working unless you use a external player or a pre 3.0 client and stick to 720p (guessing plex fault)
Mouse pointer...still annoyingly big
Netflicks..working smoothly

Its a solid build and the 5.1 is nice feature.
Seem rikomagic finally getting the stock firmware in working order.
Now all we need is a custom firmware with the 5.1 and none of the bloat...lol.

are you sure that 5.1 output working ? I have a ONKYO TX-SR508 and file with 5.1 Dolby Digital audio are played as they are stereo, what can I do to solve ? which player you use ? I tried with MX player and the one of eHomeMediaCenter

Iam guessing here but they are likely transcoding the audio rather then playing it directly.

I used a older version of plex 2.4.5.7 and they free plex media server to play directly.
But there also a good possibility rikomagic didn't quite get the job done correctly either.
