Some advice needed

Ok, I just bought a MK809IV advertised on ****.
The seller said it had a RK3229 processor, and 16GB of storage space.
After running CPU Z, I discovered it had a RK3066 processor instead...and only 1.93GB of USUABLE storage....ie I cannot use but 2 GB of the storage for apps.
Is there a way in Android 5.1.1 to be able to use more of the storage?

CPU Z is not correct I think.
Open the Stick and look on the CPU.
Also can you send some pictures?

As you can see there is 1.93 GB available for storage for apps.
However, there IS another 10 or 11GB (will get around to doing a screenshot) that I cannot seemingly use for storage.
What good is all that extra space if I cannot save apps to it?

here you see from inside the player itself how much storage there is...it says it has 9.7GB of more storage that I do not seem to be able to use.
That is my question..I know Finless Bob has made some roms where he can repartition how much space you can use for your apps...(I ran 1,7 on my old MK809b)

As for cracking the shell open...I'm still disputing with the seller...very hesitant to crack it open yet until I know whether I am going to send it back yet. I've searched the forums...and I haven't seen a rom yet for MK89IVs yet. From my reading, this is apparently a popular device...and some folks have made fakes.

So this Device is not an RK3066, cause an RK3066 is a Dual Core only.
With this Information, I can say it is an RK3229 Device.
For the Memory of the Device, you have to take attention.
You have 16GB of Storage but from this, there will be taking away 2GB where the System and Apps are will be saved.
The Rest Space you can Access as Internal SD Card.
When you want to Save Apps there you need an App like App2SD.
Also possible is to Flash a New Rom with different Partition Layout to gave you 6GB of Space for Apps and System.

Its not seeing the Nand Flash as a SD card..and there isn't another partition to save it to.
Ay yi yi, more trouble than it is worth.
I have a M8S Amlogic S812 with 16gb of space downstairs on my other tv...and there is no such issue with it.
