    NEW CX-919 II

    I just bought a brand new CX-919 II with dual external antennas. Anyone knows if the CX-919 roms works on this device? It seems that netflix has some stuttering but XBMC works smooth with the MXPlayer. Anyone got a sollution for the netflix stuttering problem? Henrik

      Personally I think the WiFi capability of the CX-919 is already very good. I'd wonder if the 919II is made by the same individuals that made the 919. Could be they use slightly different hardware and therefore there might be compatible issues with 919 ROMs.

        Try this fix for Netflix

        I pulled this from another thread and it worked for my Netflix; it may work for yours too:

        With ES Explorer, open the file nfxpref. xml in /data/data/com.netflix.mediaclient/shared_prefs/ and insert this line before </map>
        <int name="nflx_player_type" value="6" />
        If this line exist, change the value to 6.

        I believe I had to create that line in mine but after a restart, my Netflix started working better.

        On a side note, the Wifi on the CX-919 is already much better that most of these sticks. My MK802iV sucks for wifi signal (1 - 2 bars) but with the CX-919, I'm getting full strength. However, someone probably caught the hint that wifi was sucking on a lot of these chips and decided that if one works well, why not two?

              There isn't an SDK2 for the cx919 as far as I know. You need to flash the finless 4.2.2 kernel separately.
              Download both sdk2 package and finless cx919 4.2.2 package flash everything from the sdk2 then run the finless package and deselect everything but the kernel and run it.

                      Otg port fragile

                      I have tried this for a week now and its really fast And has a strong wifi signal with stock rom.
                      I have tested the stock rom for the cx-919 on this device And it doesnt work. Seems to have some boot issues. Finless 4.2.2 does work. But it has a very fragile OTG port so be very careful when using it. I managed to break mine

                            Okey after replacing my old CX-919II I got a new one, tried to install Finless 4.2.2 and I got the same problem. I will ask for the stock ROM tomorrow so we can get it up and running again.
