mini m8s wrong power supply put in box

hi all new to this just looking for bit of help i have mini m8s and i inserted the wrong power supply into to box and surly enough it didn't boot up i realized what i did and plug in the right power source and surly wont power up is there anything i can do to fix it Ive looked everywhere on the net and couldn't find any support for this problem any help or pointing me in the right direction would gratefully appreciated

buddy you may very well have fried your box . if it's not booting with the correct cord . sounds like it may be over .see if your pc will see the device first . if it does there might be hope .

sorry i should have said i have two of these boxes one works the other dosent now but neither of them are detected by my PC Ive tried bought of them just to be sure power cord and USB cable and without power cord USB cable and still nothing do i have to do something for my PC to see the boxes ?

Open the box and check the space near the power supply there is one big coil which probably is fried and also small capacitor on right. I had one box for witch my friend did talso connect wrong power supply and fixed it by changing this two components.
