Hi Anthony, hey... no change partner... i had one similar to this you suggested from XGODY and upload as well as the firmware check passed with no issues, then it reboots , LED turns blue and it sits there, with the XGODY logo ... something has got to be missing...

Very odd normally when firmware check passes it means it's compatible, you must have a unique board. I'm waiting on some sellers at the moment. Have you tried contacting the person you bought the box from?

No I haven't it really isn't mine its my brother in law and I'm helping him with it, he bought this thru the Wish app and what's curious is that the order says MXQ Pro Amlogic S905 Smart TV box and at first what I was downloading was actually for Amlogic until I decided to open the box and find out to my surprise it's an MX4N-V02... it's hard to trace this seller all the app shows is the store called LIJIHUA , I recall when it worked it had lollipop 5.1.1

Pretty sure any v88 firmware should work on that mx4n board assuming you have SSV6051 WiFi chip. Have you tried this one http://download.appinthestore.com.s3...09_Spectek.zip ? Also make sure you use android tool 2.1 select your IMG > erase flash > upgrade.

Side note i used rktool 1.7 with the new rk driver package.. and had to take device out of case to use a screw driver to push the flashing button wedged between the button and av port (not the best place for button....)

Thanks @neoddom, I'll give a shot once again I think this one anthony96 shared a while ago. My problem when flashing some of these firmware run complete others fail during the check and they either fail around 75% ot 97% nevertheless they still boot but oy to the Recovery Mode... all firmware I've tried so far they get stuck on the boot logo screen and after a very long while the screen may or may not turn green. Since the flashing has turned successful in some cases, I've discarded my NAND chip gone bad, what I'm concerned about is the possibility of other chips gone bad that I can't see.... if i'm successful i'll post an update... appreciate you guys pointing me in the right direction at least now I know what to look for... thanks. G.

                      geacmbo,

I just checked my AliExpress account (don't normally login) and a seller actually replied. Link is super slow as it's hosted in China but here it is https://pan.baidu.com/share/link?sha...&uk=3461034117

Not sure if you had any luck with the one I sent you? I also happened to get another firmware, uploaded it to mega since China servers are terribly slow. Here's the link https://mega.nz/#!wLoQUYAY!wtlys3vWl...bH5G81Sm8aWR8s

Anthony, I've been trying.. LOL I have not been able to download any of those images, using your links I've landed on sites where I've seen tons of images more than any other place I've visited yet I am unable to download any of them, I believe I have to donwload some sort of a cloud application I attempted it and got spammed like crazy ... and to top it off, all sites are in Trad.Chinese so translating them has been also a pain in the butt.... anyways.. my guard is still high and hope to find the right one.. not giving up... I'll check this new one you shared on 7/14... Thanks partner

Naaa.. didn't make a difference... the only thing I notice on this one is that the LED remains red and upong boot the Android logo screen switches to a solid green screen and that's it.. as opposed to other images i've tested from red goes to blue though they haven't worked either... so.. this one failed during the firmware check like others have yet I'm still able to boot and get to the Recovery screen

There's ways around downloading using tampermonkey and custom scripts . I'll download it for you and upload it to my mega account.
