Tronsmart MK908 Rom + Kernel

Hi everyone,

Can you tell me what is the most ideal rom and kernel for MK908 recently?
What video player do you use? Which one's the best?

iI'm using finless 1.5 720p kernel and works great most of the time. I tried 1080 kernel and it runs, I just found 720p to run more smoothly and better overall experience. The problem seems more to do with overheating than with the rom itself tho. I get occasional reboots. it could also be crappy power source. i still haven't tried to isolate what is causing my reboots.

I'm not particularly picky about frame skipping, but netflix and youtube works fine for me. They're probably skipping frames here and there but I don't notice it much. I don't play videos off local so can't really give you feedback there.

[edit] I'm now finding that netflix does crash after an hour or so. still hard to say if it's the rom, netfllix, overheating, power supply... it's starting to get annoying
