My Motivation was to make a more easy installable ROM for H96 Pro+ 9377 DDR4

This is a patched Rom, based on Beelink GT1 Ultimate SCV1-ATV (Android TV) (DDR4)

I did the following Modifications:
*Drivers for 9377
*Changed infrared.conf including a Modification to prevent my PVR-Remote from begging my Android Box
*TWRP 3.02-0 Mod for H96Pro (only Backup and Restore of /data tested)
*Bootloader from aml_s912_q9377-H96ProPlus(3+32)_mac-20170308

This ROM runs fine here on my Box, only Thing not working correctly is the Reboot Procedure which always let the Box stay in off state.
Turning on via Remote works, so this is not a real case.

I installed it via USB Burning Tool and Bootloader Erase enabled (otherwise the Program Stops at 7%) - whyever

I have a problem with my installation.
I have a backup of my box Bellink GT1 Ultimate and when I do the restore I have an error message "EXTRACT TARFORK () process with error: 255"
Do you have a solution for me to recover my backup?

I've come across one issue and one issue only... My stock remote no longer works! None of the directional buttons work nor the power button to power up he box. Do I just replace the remote.conf in system/etc with the stock remote.conf? Thanks in advance!

danielelek90 I got same R-TV S10 device, but Rom flashing not working as giving error at 2% (looks like unproper rom for device), can you please confirm the procedure you followed?

Nice work. Works better than the stock ROM on my S10. I did save remote.conf from the stock ROM and replaced the file on the updated ROM. This restored the remote's function.
I am a big fan of TWRP and it also works well.

I was wrong about the remote. It has some issues. You can put the unit to sleep from the bottom toll bar, so this in not a big deal.

I'm a total newbie to this forum and I got my first H96 proplus yesterday. Thought I had issues with the remote but it works fine in apps (once I can get them started) but I think it's the Android platform that hangs and makes the remote seem like it doesn't work.
Can someone give me any advice? Maybe I need to delete the Android and install something else but as I'm not sure how to do id be happy for some step to step instructions how to resolve this
