Amlogic Customization Tool Help

I have the Yundoo Y2 with an s912 2GB/32GB. I have the latest firmware downloaded, but I want to customize it. I am able to unpack it using the Amlogic Customization Tool, make the changes I want -- add some apps to the pre-app section, open the launcher apk(SmartTv.apk) and change the background image -- and then pack the file.

I am using USB Burning Tool v2.0.8 to install the new firmware. Once the installation is complete and I turn on my box it takes me to the recovery screen. I have tried several times and this happens with every file I create, but if I reinstall the original firmware it loads just fine.. It seems I am missing something when I'm repacking the new file.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi lilokster,, wish I could help but I'm new to this world. Would you please share where to find the new firmware for your Yundoo Y2 box. I want to update Kodi on my box.
