H96 Pro Plus Build Number Question
Some of you may have seen my previous post concerning the unbricking of my tv box, if not its there somewhere and other than the suggestions Aut0mat3d and Flash125 offered, I didn't help much. Anyway, I have a question I hope someone could help me with. I attempted to flash multiple firmwares and some multiple times. I tried using the 7.1.1 maybe a dozen times and just like all the rest they failed, until it didn't. As chance would have it, after I attempted to flash the box again for the billionth time (sorry, had to stretch the truth a little) it happened to take the 7.1.1 that it refused to accept many, many times before. Why? I don't know and I wasn't going to push my luck by reflashing it to marshmallow just because I like that flavor more, especially coated with semi-sweet chocolate. not milk choclate, that's just....yuck. Sorry, back to the question. So now I'm on 7.1.1 and I remember seeing this on the 6.0.1 version also. Under the build number it states its a test key, why the fudge (candy reference) is that there? It makes DirectTV togo think the box is rooted, and its not (again, yuck) any help would be tremendously appreciated. Plus I cant find anything on google about this other than, "it may appear to some applications that the system is rooted". is there a way to correct this? I know I could use xposed if it were working on Nougat but it doesn't so, alas I cannot. Thanks in advance.Tags: None
