Tronsmarrt MK908 ROM update 7/4/13

Last night I installed the latest ROM with the automated updater for the MK908. This morning I noticed an update notification in Chinese. Later I started up XMBC and viewed a HD video. To my surprise the video had almost no jitter. Tried an HD video on YouTube and the video was very smooth. Checked Device Information in Settings. The vendor software was dated July 15th. So, apparently, my ROM was updated over night.

After running the HD video I checked the device and it was relatively cool compared with past operations using the Finless ROM. The WiFi seems to be working better than before. I have been unable to download Speedtest for Mobile which is my benchmark tester, so I cannot compare speeds with previous ROMS. But the 720 videos were streaming without a pause, which they were not before the installation of the new stock ROM.

that's good to hear. if only i didn't have to resetup everything every time i switch roms.. so much tweaking every time.

and the stock rom comes with a bunch of bloatware right... i guess put up with the crapware for smooth video?

After you install new ROM. Download SuperuserSU and Rom Toolbox from Google Play. Rom Toolbox has a utility to remove any app you want to remove.
