Scishion V88 6.0.1 No Sound

Hi all,
Ok, I am a noob, so speak slowly please. I noticed that others have had some issues with sound disappearing on the V88. I heard a few pops while setting it up, and since, I have ZERO sound. I have adjusted all the sliders and went through all the system menus. YouTube had a different menu from 5.4 I believe. I see no settings on 6.0.1 to let me select sending sound through an HDMI. I am open to suggestions. If I am flashing this thing to a previous version, please send me a link as there is a high likelihood I brick the thing. Thanks!

The V88 firmware is half put together and will never see another update, already abandoned.
You can try to flash Ugoos firmware instead, it has working Google Play Store, working sound, HDMI pass-through and a RGB color fix and works miles better.
