you can try Sergio Poveronys latest RK tool , but the file you want to rework must i think in the same Folder , otherwise it does not work , or

it is only on my PC so . Give it a try , lokk for the latest , i think 5.99. .... ??? someting .

Hi iqong ,

for this you can install a TWRP Recovery to your Device and back up the hole Rom .

I think it is possible with AndroidTool too , third Tab . What kind of Box do u use ???

I am using a generic Android TV box currently running Android ver 5.1.1
Bought online from China
Recently I bought another unit from the same source but the UI loaded is different. I thought of copying this old firmware to the new box as both box are identitical.
If you could point me the link to download the tools and copy out the firmware would be very useful

As far as dumping Roms from your box that's a bit more difficult.

As far as dumping Roms from your box that's a bit more difficult.

Actually it seems the only real working TWRP version for RK3229 and V88 is the one that was posted here in the forums for a different thread (flashing UT6 ROM to V88). All the ones at 4PDA simply don't work.
