I have seen people stating they are able to do passthrough audio with DTS HD and TRUE HD... I have had no success. I updated the firmware to the TP5Z0064 version. My box came with KD player (kodi 16.1)... i could get DTS, but not DTS HD/MA. or truehd. I uniinstalled it and tried Kodi official version with no success. I also tried SPMC with no luck.
Does anyone have true passthrough with DTSHD/MA or True HD working?. If so what were your settings. on SPMC i tried IEC passthrough, Raw, etc. I even enabled DTS HD/etc and the video plays with no sound. If i use the IEC pass through then I get DTS. I made sure the sync was disabled/tried the surface media codec, etc.... options still only dts.
I tried to look in the system/etc/firmware/wlan folders to see what adapter and all i see is bin files with 30 in them bd..30.bin/etc. I tried to open them with the text editor and read the code to see if there was an actual model number.. no luck.
any help would be appreciated...(step by step noob instructions)
