TX3 PRO RAM size and no OpenGL ES support

    Hi Freaktab users,

Recently I just got my TX3 Pro from local retailer, it has no problem for video playback with mx player or kodi but I feel the device is rather slow to load any apps, so I checked the device properties and I found that my tv box only has 818 MBs of RAM, I checked it on kodi system properties and antutu info both show 818 MBs of RAM. is it normal? Retailer configuration said 1G/8G so the RAM should be 1024 MBs right?

Next step, since it is slow to load apps, I went to install RAMexpander and I found that my tx3 pro already has active swap memory and it always failed to activate swaps from RAMexpander (device hanging on activate Ramexpander)

My next problem is running 3d benchmark, it always fail to run antutu 3d test section, the other sections went okay and I got around 22k without 3d test. Then i try to play riptide GP, it was playable but not on ultra setting, it says "need OpenGL" or something like that to run on ultra setting. Thats when I realize that my tv box has no opengl library installed.

Does anyone have this problem? How to install openGL library and fix my RAM?

    Thanks.

I will add my android built info detail later, as i know it runs android 6 with december 2016 built.

Ram is shared with the graphic chip (mali).
thats why its not show 1024mb by the system.
Your best bet is to sell this unit and buy the 2gb one.
Or install os like libreelec witch dont need alot if ram.

Also this chip is to week fir ultra settings in games,
And there is no opengl for android only opengl es witch is used by moust games and apps etc, like kodi.
Everything is possible if we work together!

Thank you for your respond, I just know this since most mobile phone keep mentioning real RAM size in antutu or kodi even with the same mali graphic chip. About opengl I mean opengl es for android, most android can run antutu 3d benchmark but not my tx3pro, when i watch other youtube review they can run 3d bechmark. Is there any way to install opengl es library manually?

      Thanks a lot
