yeah i'd recommend using it with some tweaks for non-3g tablets to eliminate possible additional battery drain... still it's usable on both...

I made the ROM with the 3G firmware...but it works nicely on my wifi only version. Maybe I can find the tweak for less battery use...but I think it's in the kernel.

my pick will be to use those for non-3G ver to disable modem completely

Reboot App issues?

Thanks for the rom Riley, great to have someone supporting these devices..
I am facing an issue of when I use the reboot app to reboot to recovery say, the tablets screen is switching off then the M8 pro becomes unresponsive and a re flash is needed. I have replicated this twice and am going to go back to 1.7 at this point.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
There is no issue getting the tablet back into loader mode by utilising the 3 button combo to re flash.

I have the wifi only version
Back on 1.7 and the issue is gone,

no, it's working as expected on 1.8 - using it ALOT while testing stuff...

1. try to re-apply root or just try to reinstall supersu\superuser or whatever you are using
2. try other reboot app (there are bunch on the market)
3. wipe cache\davlik - reboot
4. complete wipe (user data) - reboot

i got an issue! v1.8 won't connect faster than 3g! (the Edge and 3G signs only on the mobile signal icon)
i've just flashed back the official 06.28.13 and it's instantly back to H+ connection...
but not the v1.8.. clean reflashing didn't solve the issue - please advice.
tried to apply the clean build.prop... no effect... very strange...
official is working!

We had a big storm blow through last night and I woke up to find no Internet. I think my cable modem is dead.

Please keep me posted because I can't download right now.

Hi have had to go back to the 1.7ed the 1.8 rom but had issues with the wifi would not connect so have had to go back to the 1.7 rom hope its fixed soon. nick

today i update my non 3g version pipo max 8 pro to 1.8 multitask
multitask work fine but i have issue can you fix it please
when i open few thinks net image ... and i touch one of them to open it not react i have to go to home screen i mean it drop me to home screen instant of open that page ot task that i run before

i am not talking about multi task windows i have issue in multiwindows when i like to jump on other it not react
