    GT1 Ultimate Bricked

Hi, While flashing SC rom, I bricked my device (GT1 Ultimate, G912 version). Worse, I have also somehow broken the reset button (as can be seen in the picture). Can some one tell me how to revive my GT1 box? The led comes on, but nothing more.

you need to get someone to solder in a new reset button, and then do the recovery with a full flash, including bootloader erase

      Thanks for the help.

About the bootloader erase, SC says not to erase bootloader. So should I flash the stock rom and then again try SC rom?

        How about this:

You don't need the reset button for the sdcard method..

Hi, thanks for that. But I can't get to recovery mode, so this doesn't work for me. Also the stock firmware for my device doesnt have uboot.bin file.

I don't want to be a smartass but if i understand the method right the recovery starts from the sdcard (recovery.img) and you only need the uboot.bin if your bootloader is dead...

Just try it without the uboot.bin...

Edit: Please correct me someone with more knowledge than i have... Iam also interested how exactly this works with a bricked box... You never know..

Edit2: You can probably use the uboot.bin of another Rom that runs on your Box.

Just tried that also. Nothing happens

Will try to look for uboot.bin from some other amlogic S912 rom, but not very hopeful that it will work.

Ok, now I am able to use the USB cable method to connect to burning tool. It recognizes the device, but then gets stuck at 4% downloading uboot. The error screen is attached (I tried it thrice, with same result). Not sure what this is about and what can I do now?

                  Try this:

Start usb burning tool, load the image, press start.... Then connect your box.. The flash process should start automatically..

On the T95U Pro its enough to connect the power supply and usb cable (otg port) simultaneously... (no need to push the reset button)...

Ok, I somehow managed to get to burning successfully message in burning tool (by connecting power). But still the box is not starting up. And now after disconnecting power, it is again not being recognized in windows. So back to square one, right after I thought the nightmare was over

Edit: Ok, it has started now, with stock firmware. Thanks a lot guys for all the help. I did short the pins as shown by Jhonnie in another thread, so that may have helped. Phew! Now will try to install SC rom. Thanks all of you amazing people at freaktab!

I have managed to get SC rom working on my GT1 Ultimate. But im facing a new problem now, I cant switch on the wifi. I can use internet through ethernet port, but wifi is not working. Not sure what the issue is with it, any help to guide me in the right direction would be great.

Your Box has probably a different WiFi chip then the one supported by SC Rom

Yes it is. But SC has provided a fix for that as a patch that can be applied using TWRP. I had used this patch earlier while using SC's ATV rom for the same box and wifi worked after that. But now with the normal android rom and the patch it is no longer working.

I seem to have messed up the wifi while trying to restore the bootloader or something. Is there a way for me to find out what may be wrong. I read somewhere that the mac key could be messed up, but have no idea how to check that.

Edit: Suddenly, the next day wifi starts connecting on its own! Guess its my lucky day.

Hi VideoNJ, I was wondering if you could give me a bit more details regarding this part, since I had exactly the same issue with my Beelink Gt1 ultimate: Uboot error message at 4% and no way to go further in the process :/
I tried plugging the power adapter too while doing it, but still no luck going past these 4% and stuck on Uboot download

Any additional information on that part would be great !

Are you trying with stock rom or SC rom? Try with stock first, that worked for me. Then install SC rom. Plugging in the power cable while flashing helped for me to get past the 4% error.
